Sanjeev is an Advocate and an Intellectual Property Attorney with extensive experience in advising and representing clients in Complex Disputes, Patent matters, and IP transactions.

Sanjeev has nearly 27 years of experience as a lawyer across diverse areas of Law, including Intellectual Property Rights, Civil litigation, Transactions, and IP Licensing.

Before founding STARKN Legal, Sanjeev was Practice Chair of Litigation Practice at K&S Partners, where he worked for approximately seventeen and a half years. At K&S, his practice was mainly focused on contentious patent matters, IP transactions, and complex patent litigation. Before that Sanjeev practiced as commercial and IP lawyer for about 10 years before various courts in Delhi, including the Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India. His early practice focused on Civil and Corporate litigation, including Arbitration since he was admitted to the Bar at Delhi in 1999. Over his career, Sanjeev has assisted clients ranging from Multinational Pharmaceutical Companies to FMCG and Telecom companies, as well as several Indian Companies.

Sanjeev has conducted around 40 patent infringement actions before various courts in India Litigation representing clients like Saint Gobain, Gilead, Novo Nordics, Solex, ZTE, TP-Link, AGI Greenpac, etc. Sanjeev has conducted over 200 patent oppositions and revocations. In addition, Sanjeev has assisted the clients and has conduct multiple patent appeals and writs before various High Courts in India. Sanjeev has advised clients on various tech transfer arrangements across the technology domain.
